Who We Are
Transparency International-USA is a non-profit, non-partisan organization founded in 1993 to combat corruption in government and international business and development.
TI-USA promotes systemic reform through:
- collaboration with a global network of local chapters in almost 100 countries
- high level collective action with government, private sector and international organizations, and
- extensive expertise in developing tools and approaches to combating corruption.
The TI-USA Board of Directors -- comprised of leaders from the legal, accounting, business, development, university and non-profit communities as well as former senior government officials -- contributes to and actively participates in TI-USA initiatives.
TI-USA is a:
- recognized leader on international anti-corruption expertise, advocacy and impact;
- portal to the global network of anti-corruption change-makers;
- reliable, impartial source of information for public policymakers, private sector decision-makers and the media;
- catalyst for collective action;
- respected voice on national and international integrity issues;
